H009s – Chimney Sweeping (Two Day) 

This version of the HETAS Sweeping course has been developed by us at H Firkins & Sons to allow current installers or serving sweeps a route to become a HETAS-approved Chimney Sweep.

HETAS is a leading name in the solid fuel industry – and becoming a HETAS-Approved Chimney Sweep can give your business a marketing edge with high recognition levels among consumers and therefore your prospective customers!

This version of the H009S includes practical training in the use of power sweeping equipment from manufacturers such as Rodstation, Snaplok and Rodtech. Practical training with manual sweeping rods.  Practical training with various sealing methods such as clips, magnets, tape, sheets, clear plastic etc.    As well as this it includes the theory training you’ll need to complete chimney sweeping, and covers most of the things sweep associations consistently miss out from their training.
